We love green is about showing that we all care for the environment and are doing what we can to protect it. This could mean doing a little bit or a lot; with a collective effort we can help make a big difference.
This brand new initiative is supported by Gallions Housing Association but the organisation doesn’t own it...it's really about ordinary people doing their bit.
We’ve kicked it off with a few pledges (things we will be doing to protect the envrionment) but you can get involved in many ways.
You can take a pledge (in fact you can take as many as you like) by following the link at the top of the page, join our campaigns or just browse to see what events you could take part in.
The site is totally interactive so if you think there is something everyone should be doing to protect their local environment, let us know.

London Green Points Launches in Bexley
Pupils from St John Fisher Catholic Primary School in Thamesmead joined legendary broadcaster Neil “Doctor” Fox, host of Magic FM’s Brighter Breakfast Show and ‘ambassador’ for London Green Points, and local dignitaries and residents for the Big Recycle to mark the official launch of the London Green Points scheme in Bexley on Monday (3rd October).

Local canal adopted by registered charity
Thamesmead’s leading community development agency and registered charity, Trust Thamesmead, has ‘adopted’ a section of Butts Canal in Thamesmead Town Centre. Staff will spend a couple of hours every month litter picking and looking after the area.
